The fact that the original OT cast is returning for Episode VII is the worst kept secret in the history of Hollywood.  So much so that most fans don’t realize that the return of Hamill, Fisher and Ford isn’t official yet.  In fan circles it’s mostly discussed as a fait accompli.  Adding to the unofficially official pile is this tidbit about a workout routine that Mark Hamill’s close friend, Robert “Freddy Krueger” Englund, dropped at the Nashville Comic Expo.

Just as the buzz circulating is that movie goers are growing tired of origin stories and one recent flop was supposedly lampooning origin stories, the word coming out of Disney is that the Star Wars spin off movies starting in 2016 will be origin stories.

The short film Black Angel, which was shown before The Empire Strikes Back in Australia and parts of Europe, will be screened for the first time in 33 years at the Mill Valley Film Festival in Marin County.

Our friends at Jedi Temple Archives confirmed the bad news about the upcoming Black Series Stormtrooper in wave 2.  This is not the Stormtrooper you are looking for. In fact, it’s not really a Stormtrooper figure at all. Good work, Hasbro.  Luminara does look like a nice figure, however.

The first rumored title for Episode VII has been reported. They are also saying that the Millennium Falcon set, Cantina set, and a power planet set are being constructed at Pinewood.

This Jedi Temple News report lets us know that wave 2 of the Black Series is likely weeks away from hitting US shores, but the news is bitter sweet.
